| PASCAGOULA, Miss. - The Gulf Coast Crew placed first in the 1st annual Gulf Coast Crew 7-a-side in Pascagoula, Mississippi. The Crew faced the "Nasty Dawgs", a team comprised of Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College players, in the final. The Crew outlasted the Dawgs 6-3 to take home the win. In the semi-final the Crew began overtime against Mississippi State's club team. In golden goal format the Crew's Matt Clifton scored the game winner in the 3rd minute. In group play the Crew beat GCFC 5-1 and lost to "Quinn" 1-2. The Crew consisted of Jeff Bowman, Brett Clifton, Matt Clifton, Austin Haygood, Matt Welch, Brock Moss, Daniel Trehern, Steve Chisholm, Kyle Miller, Paul Ross, Seth Shepherd, Ryan Zelenka, and Neil Scott. In the "B" division final Pascagoula FC squeaked by the Fighting GC 4-3. The women's round robin ended with The Bay in first place and Pascagoula FC in second. |

| GAUTIER, Miss. - The Gulf Coast Crew went undefeated in the "Gulf Coast Champs" 7-a-side tournament held in Gautier, Mississippi on the weekend of July 21-22, 2007. In round robin style the Crew beat "Chelsea" 11-2 in game 1. Game 2 went as planned with a 9-2 victory over the "Sea Warriors". Game 3 against "The Wave" was another 11-4 blow-out. In game 4 the Crew faced off with "Pascagoula FC" who seemed to be the toughest match of the weekend. The Crew took PFC 6-4. The Crew led all teams with a total of 36 tournament points to take 1st place. Cooper Kimbrell with 7 and Austin Haygood with 6 led the Crew in scoring throughout the weekend. The Crew consisted of Jeff Bowman, Brett Clifton, Jordan Godsey, Austin Haygood, Cooper Kimbrell, Brock Moss, Charlie Robertson, Daniel Trehern, Steve Chisholm, Paul Ross, Ryan Zelenka, and Neil Scott. |

| GAUTIER, Miss. - The Gulf Coast Crew convincingly won in bracket play only to loose in the semi-finals of the largest 7-a-side to date provided by divingheadersoccer.com. In bracket play the Crew defeated "Extreme" 10-6 and "Mobile Blue" 4-1. The Crew faced off with "GCFC" out of Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College in the quarter-finals and recorded a win of 7-1. In the semi-finales the Crew dropped a game to the eventual tournament winners, "Saltio" 5-7. This also ended the Crew's 10 game win streak. The Crew was led by guest player Chucky Montgomery who netted 11 goals with 2 assists. In goal, Kyle Miller made 14 saves. |
| JACKSON, Miss. - The Gulf Coast Crew's Brett Clifton earned offensive player of the week for the Gulf Coast Athletic Conference. Playing his senior year for the Belhaven College Blazers out of Jackson, Mississippi, Clifton scored one goal and had one assist for the Blazers in the week beginning August 27, 2007. | PASCAGOULA, Miss. - The Gulf Coast Crew's first annual "Christmas with the Crew" 7-a-side tournament was a success although the Crew took a loss in the semi-finals. The Crew won first in bracket play beating Combinado due to a forfeit, Chivas with a score of 9-6, Moss Point with a score of 4-3, and Los Tres due to another forfeit. The Crew went up againt the EDL Crew out of Long Beach, Mississippi in Sunday's semi-finals. The Crew started slow and couldn't catch up at they eventually lost 3-6. EDL Crew went on to lose to El Satillo in golden goal overtime in the championship match later in the afternoon. |

| JACKSON, Miss. - The Gulf Coast Crew found themselves in the final of the 2008 Belhaven College Futsal Tournament against the home team. The Crew was up 3-1 at halftime but failed to score in the second half while Belhaven tied the score by the end of regular time. Belhaven scored in golden goal overtime to take the championship leaving the Crew with 2nd place. The Crew defeated Delta State University's 2nd team in the semi-final and defeated Delta State University's 1st team, Belhaven College's 2nd team, and a college recruit team to win their group. "Our team defiantly made an impression" said Crew defender Jeff Bowman. The Crew was the only non-collegiate team out of the 12 participating teams this year. | PASCAGOULA, Miss. - The 2008 Gulf Coast Crew 7-a-side was a success although the tournament hosts were beaten in the semi-finals against the eventual tournament winner, Los Tres Amigos from Gulfport, Mississippi. In group play the Crew beat Alexandria Extreme and Fire but lost to Fury Futbol Club from Jackson, Mississippi. The Crew still won their group because of a three-way points tie that came down to goal differential. The Crew looked unprepared and seemed to start each game of the tournament flat. The few highlights from the Crew came from Ryan Zelenka, David Smith, and Cooper Kimbrell goals and Kyle Miller's saves in goal. The final was between Pascagoula Futbol Club and the undefeated Los Tres Amigos. The 2008 Gulf Coast Crew 7-a-side was sponsored by Budweiser. |

| GAUTIER, Miss. - The Gulf Coast Crew finished in second place in the 2008 Gulf Coast 7-a-side Invitational, one of the largest 7-a-side tournaments in Mississippi and the Gulf Coast. Without a keeper on the tournament roster the Crew surprised themselves as they advanced to the finals. Crew strikers Ryan Zelenka and David Smith rotated throughout the tournament in the goalkeeper position. In dramatic fashion the Crew won a golden goal overtime semi-final game versus Legion, a team they tied earlier in bracket play. Matt Clifton scored the goal to advance the team to the final. The Crew lost in the final to Catrachos as they seemed to be worn down from the exciting semi-final. Earlier in the tournament the Crew placed second in bracket play by beating Wasted Effort 4-3 and the tie with Legion 5-5. In the quarter-finals the Crew took down Mexico 6-4. |

| PASCAGOULA, Miss. - The 3rd annual Gulf Coast Crew Soccer Camp has ended a success. Youth players from different ages, different soccer clubs and different skill levels came together for a week to learn soccer skills, techniques, creative new ideas and have fun in the process. The camp was staffed by Gulf Coast Crew team members Neil Scott, Paul Ross and Ryan Zelenka. A summer 2009 camp has plans to expand with a "Kiddie Kicks" option for players ages 5-8 along with the usual ages of 9-17. Camp pictures are courtesy of Becca Scott.
