| Gulf Coast Crew Soccer Camp is for serious, dedicated players as well as for the young, inexperienced players, with the desire to improve. Players will be grouped according to age and ability so as to provide a competitive environment. Our camp staff consists of capable collegiate players who can demonstrate each skill fully. Our camp is designed to instruct boys and girls in individual skills, tactics and fundamentals of team play. We hope you will come join us for camp. Please view and print our camp brochure. |

| "Experiment, Take Risks, and Be Creative" 2008 Camp Motto __________________________________________________________________________________ What this means and why... Children that are allowed to experiment, take risks, and be creative with a soccer ball develop the most gifted soccer skills. Unlike other countries, the United States treats youth soccer players as if they are "robots" in the words of Eric Wynalda. Many children in the United States lack the idea of creativity in the game of soccer. They are taught to defend, pass, and shoot. There is a middle game between those three important topics... space and freedom. To pass and shoot a player needs space on the field, weather the space be 6 inches or 30 yards. Creating this space is easiest when a player is extremely comfortable with the ball at his or her feet. Quick touches, tight spins, sharp turns and instantly generated ideas can get players out of tough situations. Our 2008 Gulf Coast Crew soccer camp will focus on ball control as well as creativity (along with the usual camp drills) with the children. This also seems to be what is enjoyed the most by the youth soccer players as well as any other player or spectator of the game. | Team Mini-Camp Information: Our team camp is for any high school, middle school, select, challenge, or recreational level team that would like an extra step with training. Each camp is 3 days in duration and consist of 3 hour training sessions each day. Camp dates and training times, camp location, and camp topics are customized to fit your team and schedule. Team Mini-Camp Fee: Our team camp is designed to be very affordable for any team or individual budget. Camp T-shirts are included in registration fee. 15-8 participants: $60 each 16-20 participants: $50 each 21-30 participants: $40 each 31+ participants: $30 each Camp dates are reserved on a first come, first served basis.
